Knoxville Catholic Baseball is excited to welcome, Turner Whitfield (’16), as Junior Varsity Head Coach.
Turner was a 3-year starter for the Irish, and member of 2014 and 2015 State tournament teams. He went on to play college ball at Lincoln Memorial University, where injury ultimately sidelined his career. Turner coached in the Catholic Middle School organization 4 years, as well as summer travel baseball teams. He is a graduate from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelors, Sport & Fitness Administration/Management.
Turner’s goals include having a positive impact in young men’s lives, helping his players to grow in faith, and later become great citizens in society and loving husbands and dads.
