Week two started just where the Irish left off with another win on the road. Two match-ups with rival, Webb School and the 1st annual Irish Classic rounded out an exciting week. Knoxville Catholic Baseball is proud to host the event.

V- Tuesday, March 23 @ Rhea County: Win 10-7
Top performers included Miller Spence (2023) with 3 hits. Ben Sompayrac (2023) and Kaden Martin (2022) added 2 RBI. Nate Breeden (2022) went 1-2 with an RBI and run scored.
V- Wednesday, March 24 v. Webb: Loss 10-1
Tough loss with little offense. Nate Breeden (2022) and Spencer Margolis (2022) each had one hit for the Fighting Irish. Middle Reliever, Ethan Moutaw (2022), was a bright spot on the mound, pitching 3.1 innings with 5 strikeouts and 0 earned runs.
V- Friday, March 26 v. Webb: Loss 11-10
The Fighting Irish racked up 9 total hits. Miller Spence (2023) and Ian Hubbard (2023) both with 2 hits. Hubbard, Kaden Martin (2022), Emery Wright (2021) and Hudson Lutterman (2024) all with home runs.
V- Saturday, March 27 v. Knox Christian: Win 13-3
A team total of 10 hits was too much for Knoxville Christian. Landon Lutterman (2022) and Kaden Martin (2022) led Catholic with 2 hits. Martin and Emery Wright (2021) with homeruns.
JV- Tuesday, March 23 @ Rhea County: Tie 4-4
Ryan Theobald (2023), Cade Avans (2024), Jack Judd (2024) and Aiden Alexander (2024) each had 1 hit for the Irish.
JV- Wednesday, March 24 v. Webb: Win 9-5
Four hits for Ryan Theobald (2023) paved the way for the JV Irish over Webb.
