Lipscomb comes back to defeat the Irish

Knoxville Catholic fell to Lipscomb Academy in a rain delayed event. The Irish were up 3-2 in the top of the 6th with momentum when rain came Wednesday. Play resumed on Friday.

Starting pitcher, Ben Sompayrac (2023) surrendered two runs on three hits, striking out three. Lipscomb came out swinging on Friday, scoring nine runs in the bottom of the 6th.

Daniel Parris (2023) and Hudson Lutterman (2024) had homeruns for Catholic. Nate Breeden (2022) went 4-4 at the plate to lead the Irish.

Final: Lipscomb Academy 11, Knox Catholic 3.
