The Fighting Irish are 2023 TSSAA Division II-AA State Champions! Finishing the season at 31-9, Knoxville Catholic Baseball wins it’s first ever State Championship, beating Brentwood Academy, Baylor, Lipscomb Academy and Christ Presbyterian on the way.

- Irish Baseball won it’s first ever State Championship, beating CPA 4-3 at MTSU, May 25, 2023.
- Catholic Baseball made back to back State Tournament appearances in 2022 and 2023.
- New turf was installed on the infield of Gaylor Field at “Diamond Park” by Hellas Construction. The $350k project was a 6-week project funded by the Irish community of families and friends. Read more >
- KCHS Baseball plays in Division II, Class AA, East Region. Region opponents are: Baylor School, Chattanooga Christian School, McCallie School and Webb School of Knoxville.
- Irish Head Coach, Caleb Moore was named 2022 Co-Coach of the Year by ETBCA.
- On May 2, 2023, with a win over rival Webb, Coach Caleb Moore captured win #200.
- Catholic Baseball fields Varsity and Jr. Varsity squads, as well as supporting middle school baseball teams.
