WEEK 1

VARSITY (3-0)

Varsity beat Lakeway Christian Academy in the Irish home opener. Top performances include Kaden Martin and Landon Lutterman, both with 2 hits. Senior pitcher, Nic Harpst held the Lions to no runs. (KCHS 11 – LCA 0)

The second match-up with Lakeway Christian was held at Walter’s State. The Irish Varsity won again, 14-0. Daniel Parris pitched 5 shutout innings with 13 strikeouts. Highlights at the plate were Kaden Martin with a HR and Noah Ward, Jacob Foster and Emery Wright with extra base hits. (KCHS 14 – LCA 0)

Parker Griffey led the Irish in another big win over William Blount. Griffey went 4-5 at the plate and Emery Wright went yard, while Catholic posted 17 total. Kaden Martin started on the mound, followed by Major Hollin, who recorded the save. (KCHS 16 – WB 8)


JR. VARSITY (1-1)

JV began the season with a win over Christian Academy. Connor O’Brien, 2-3 with a homerun, led the Irish offense, while Canyon Geren got the win. (KCHS 5 – CAK 0)

Wednesday’s game at Farragut ended in a tough loss, 4-2. Luke Jones threw 3 innings allowing only one hit and 0 runs. Miller Spence led Irish hitters with 2 hits. (FHS 4 – KCHS 2)

The JV tournament at West High scheduled for this weekend was cancelled.
